Hi there! I’m Bruce, and I’m passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges through personalized exclusive premium and Concierge Counseling. Concierge Counseling is a Fee-For-Service empathetic, personalized and Premium Service.
With almost 40 years of professional behavioral Healthcare experience in the field of which 20 years is with the military working as a Counseling Psychologist both on the installation and remotely, I specialize in providing tailored, exclusive, and strategic support that meets your needs where you are, i.e., via Telephone, Video or In Person in the State of Hawaii.
My Philosophy
I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and healing. I provide communication skills training, problem solving and decision-making enhancement skills training, cognitive restructuring and learning to challenge negative thinking as well as my cost/benefit analysis. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of the unique experiences that shape each person’s life. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, empowering you to make meaningful changes.

- Provided treatment to Active-Duty Service Members (SM) returning from Iraq & Afghanistan at the U.S. Army Substance Abuse clinic at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.
- Participated in the U.S. Army First Telehealth Triage Screening of SM from Afghanistan
- Provided Vocational Expert Witness Testimony Assessing Employability of Divorcing Spouses
- Provided Substance Abuse Expert Witness Testimony at a criminal trial.
- Provided Workshops to Attorneys and others at the Hawaii State Bar Association.
- Worked with over 1000 couples of which approximately 97% reported making moderate to substantial progress.
- Launched “Faces of Recovery” Talk Radio Program highlighting issues related to Substance Abuse.
- Published numerous articles on Substance Abuse, Recovery and Mental Health Well Being.
- Worked with numerous clients who have experienced physical, emotional, or sexual abuse.
